Climate-Food
The agri-food system is a major source of greenhouse gas emissions and highly vulnerable to climate change. Transforming it is therefore critical to meeting China's climate goals and broader sustainable development objectives. iGDP tracks, analyzes, and evaluates green, low-carbon policies and practices in China's agri-food system. We bring together policymakers, researchers, civil society, farmers, and businesses to identify and scale up practical solutions. Through policy research, quantitative analysis, workshops, and field studies, we address key issues such as climate-resilient agriculture, sustainable food supply chains, and reducing food loss and waste. Our goal is to build an inclusive, climate-resilient agri-food system that contributes to rural revitalization, food security, and China's dual-carbon goals.
